

5 Minute Hummus
A quick and protein-filled snack that is the perfect complement to vegetables, wraps, sandwiches, and more!
Ingredients
- 1 Can (15oz) Chickpeas NOT drained
- 2-4 Cloves Garlic Peeled
- 1/2 Cup Tahini (ground sesame seeds)
- 1/2 Lemon Juiced
- 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Optional spices and garnishes: pine nuts, chickpeas, paprika, cumin, parsley, etc.
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, add the chickpea and its water along with the garlic.
- Microwave for 5 minutes. Let cool. Drain and reserve the liquid.
- Transfer chickpeas to a high powered blender or food processor.
- Add tahini, lemon juice, and sea salt.
- Blend until combined then, as the blender is still going, drizzle in the olive oil until smooth.
- Top with olive oil and additional garnishes if desired and serve!
